Global Ties Iowa seeks to strengthen our community’s commitment to and participation in global exchanges on professional and individual levels. We believe in the inherent value of people-to-people exchanges that contribute to the creation of a more connected world for which we strive.

Through citizen diplomacy, we aim to develop international cooperation, facilitate the creation of global professional networks, and contribute to the global education of area students and community residents, making eastern Iowa a better place in which to live and work.
